Letter from the Secretary-General

To the participants of NAMUN 2017,

As the Secretary-General, I welcome you to NAMUN 2017. I believe that this event will be memorable for each and every one of you. Over the course of many months, the Academic and Organization Teams have overcome many obstacles and worked vigorously; every committee and event has been planned with great care in order to make this conference a satisfying one and to ensure your wellbeing during the three days you will be spending with us.

Disarmament and International Security has been a great source of morale for us, as it was one of the committees that were picked for its academic value and for its reputation as a productive topic. This study guide is a result of the careful planning of the Academic Team and it was written in order to present you what we believe is an accumulation of relevant and useful information on the topic. I expect that you will all execute your capability as social and academic individuals and leave the conference with a feeling of content.

Eren Kırmıt

Secretary-General of NAMUN 2017
