Subject: The 2016 ATLANTA AIRLINE CLASSIC, October 13th – 16th, 2016. Play Days 14th & 15th.
You are cordially invited to attend the 17th edition of the Atlanta International Airline Soccer Tournament. We welcome male and female airline (and airline related businesses) teams from around the world to join us in this soccer tournament! It is indeed a pleasure to see the overwhelming response that we continue to receive for our tournament. The tournament will take place over 2 days (Friday & Saturday).
This year’s tournament will once again be an OUTDOOR 7-A-SIDE Tournament. The host hotel for this year will be the Renaissance Hotel Atlanta Airport. This hotel is located minutes from the Atlanta Airport. The hotel is just 20 minutes from “Buckhead”, the entertainment and shopping center of Atlanta. Since the hotel is conveniently located to Atlanta’s public transportation system, which takes you to most of the city’s finest attractions, it may not necessary to rent your own transportation. You will find further details regarding the hotel, including rates and reservation instructions, in this package. The MARTA (Atlanta’s Rapid transit system) airport station is just a short shuttle ride from the hotel providing easy access directly to Buckhead and other points of interest in the city, and Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport.
The entire package costs approximately USD 250 per person (Double) or as low as USD 200 (Quad) which includes 3 nights stay, transportation to and from the field, snacks and beverages during the tournament, commemorative T-shirt, trophies, and an awards event (note: Delta Air Lines will not be offering reduced fares for this tournament).

$ 100 USD Individual Fee - Due at the Captain’s Briefing, Thursday, October 13rd , 2016
Hotel Arrangements - Hotel reservation and payment must be made directly with the hotel. Please reference the enclosed hotel reservation form for rates and booking instructions.
Teams must arrive by Thursday, October 13th, as the tournament will be played Friday & Saturday, with the awards BBQ to be held Saturday immediately following the finals. TOURNAMENT FEES / PAYMENT INFORMATION
Tournament entry is officially accepted with a deposit/prepayment of 150 USD per TEAM. Individual fee of 100 USD will be collected upon arrival into Atlanta (at the Captain’s Briefing).
PREPAYMENT: TEAM FEE OF 150 USD IS DUE SEPTEMBER 15th, 2016.

Rooms must be guaranteed by a credit card number, including expiration date. Cancellation must be made 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid loss of deposit.
Players: Each team will have six (6)-field players and one (1) goalie on the playing field. The maximum number of players allowed on each team will be twelve (12).
Teams: You may enter as many teams as you desire, however the tournament committee reserves the right to limit the number teams from each airline.
Co-Ed Teams: All co-ed teams must have a minimum of 4 female players 2 of which must be on the field at all times during the matches.
Field: The field will be approximately 60 yards X 35 yards. Playing surface is grass.
Goals: The goals are 6.5 feet high and 12 feet wide.
Game time: Game times are 2 X 20 minutes. Game times are subject to change as the tournament committee sees fit.
Teams: The tournament usually will have approximately eight (8) Female / Co-Ed teams, and no more than twenty (20) Male teams this year.
