Notes | The CS surface is the oblate ellipsoid (or sphere) surface excluding the pole points. The geodetic 3D CS (Table 5 .14) induces this CS on the 3rd coordinate surface at any point for which h = 0. If a = b, the geodetic latitude coincides with the spherical latitude (see Table 5 .10). |
