Thecompetitionwilltakeplaceon Friday,April25,2014formiddleschoolsandSaturday,April26,2014forhighschools. The competitionwillbeginwithteam check-inandcompliancechecksfollowedbyanopening ceremony,competitionrounds,and thepresentationof awards.
TheGPSPC willfeature posterandpoolevents.Ajuriedposter competitionisplanned for both middle and high school teamsto introducetheirgraphic displaysanddeliveroralpresentations abouttheirdesignphilosophy,constructionchallenges, and answerquestionsposedby thejudges.
Anengineering designnotebookmustbedelivered forjudgingbeforethesubmittaldeadline. Theengineeringdesignnotebooksubmittaldeadlineisinadvance ofthecompetitiondate. The engineeringdesignnotebookemphasizesprocessdocumentationandcapturedthelessons teamlearnedduring thedesign,build and testphase.
