Overpopulation Issue : The population growth beyond control is always an issue for government as well as to the economic growth. The growth of population means with same limited amount of resources more people of country have to survive. The productivity with those resources remain same but the needs and consumption of people rise. Therefore the government has to bring new policies to fulfill the needs of everyone. Due to population growth government has to create more employment opportunities, more industrial goods etc. which may shift the focus from development. Therefore overpopulation is a barrier to developing countries as it slows down the pace of the growth.
