      1. CHI-SQUARE DISTRIBUTION

The chi-squared distribution has only one parameter, m. This parameter is called the number of degrees of freedom of the distribution, where In this distribution, the critical region is where area under the curve, with m degrees of freedom, lies to the right of the critical value, . The chi-square distribution is not symmetric [2]. See Figure 12 below. It is also important to note that this distribution has a mean of m and a variance of 2m [1].
