Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury

To welcome its second intake

(July 2007)

China's ground-breaking Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury will welcome its second intake on September 21, 2007. The program, the most successful of its kind in China, was developed by three prestigious international schools: Tsinghua School of Economics and Management, Institut Français de la Mode and the HEC School of Management-Paris*.

As a major innovation in the upcoming class, modules will now be held in both Beijing and Shanghai, in addition to offering an optional seminar in Paris. Mr. Marc Menesguen, General Director l’Oréal – Produits de luxe, believes that “…this addition demonstrates the ambition of this program to be a market leader in China, and will further extend its reach into the fashion and luxury industries.” Of additional added value will be a series of conferences and informal meetings with leaders from these industries, which will be introduced to the program. By facilitating contact with decision makers and industry-shapers, the AMP program further fosters dialogue and the exchange of experience.

The objective of the Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury is to prepare senior managers for the challenges in the rapidly evolving Chinese fashion and luxury markets. The six-module executive program comprises a wide range of subjects including global strategy, globalization and innovation, product strategy and brand management. Each module is run over a 3-day weekend, with the program running from September 2007 to March 2008.

Former participants have said:

« This seminar has been extremely inspiring to my job, the courses were just fitting my needs. The professors are top experts, they help us to understand the essence of brand management. I believe this seminar will have a great future in China ”. Laurence Ma, Brand General Manager, L’Oréal - Luxury Products Division.

The AMP Program is very helpful, especially for rethinking the relation between the brand and its customers”. Kate Gong, Area Manager, Shanghai Intermoda, Etam Group.

“ Before joining the AMP, I used to work with my intuition. Now I have a theoretical framework which notably will enable me to upgrade my brand ”. Jin Qi, CEO and founder of Mark Cheung (Womenswear brand)

I am very satisfied. This program reinforces our confidence in our existing strategy, which is the internationalisation of our brand”. Xu Dong Sheng, General Manager, FIYTA.
