Above:a pair of F/A-18E Super Hornets from VFA-25 out of Lemoore NAS stopped by for a visit. Right: this series of four photos shows a coyote that made a serious nuisance of itself on the afternoon of February 17 by running up and down the length of the airfield, on the runway itself at times. The presence of the coyote on the runway required a jet to break off its approach and execute a “go-around” rather than risk a collision. Below: the airport is now home to two Honda jets … and counting. Bottom: this Pilatus PC-12 stopped in on February 10. The aircraft is operated by U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and was using the call sign “Omaha-41.”
