2.2Planned Capabilities


The following capabilities will be provided when software implementation is completed, with the last piece (Enhanced Terminal Model and Enhanced Surface Traffic Limitation) by end of July 2009. The others will be available sooner: in Spring 2009 timeframe.

2.2.1ACES with FACET TFM


ACES responds to FACET’s TFM commands:

  • Coded Departure Routing

  • Flow Constrained Area Avoidance

2.2.2Enhanced AAC

2.2.2.1Improve descent speed profile functionality.

2.2.2.3Provide flight state information at future waypoints.

2.2.2.4Allow multiple/decentralized AACs to be run at the same time: one AAC per flight.
