7. Research design and Methodology
This research is mainly of descriptive type since it tries to find the relationship between the amount spent on FDI promotions and the impact of it on the FDI for sectors of the Indian economy.The main form of statistical tool used here will be correlation and graphical analysis. Thus, first the data will be collected for the variables of FDI promotional expenditure and FDI Inflowand then correlated which will yield the correlational coefficient for each of these sectors that will depict the relationship between the correlated variables. Thus, we can regard FDI promotional expenditure as the independent variable and FDI inflow will be the independent variable in this study. We thus seek to understand the
