PTSA NEWS

There are just over six weeks of the 2011-2012 school year left.  Planning for next year is already well underway.  Be a part of it at this week's PTSA Coffee Talk on Friday, April 13th, at 8:30 AM.
This is our annual joint meeting with the Sutton PTA.  There also will be an opportunity to sign up for the PTSA committee positions that you would like to fill next year! Involved parents are a crtical part of our school's success and there are so many ways to contribute.  We have opportunities that require many different types of skills and that can match every type of situation - from a one-time event to a year-long commitment, from a "be at school" opportunity to a "work-from-home-in-the-middle-of-the-night" assignment.  Please join us to learn how you can contribute.  As always, we'll have MyGrant's Moment and other updates.

The PTSA will honor the Class of 2012 and their parents with a reception in the courtyard after the Visions program on Saturday, May 12th.  As is tradition, the parents of non-Seniors provide food and help in support of this large gathering.  We need Kitchen Warriors (15-20) from 8:00 am to noon to help with the event.  We also rely on generous food donations such as cheese platters, fruit plates and vegetable trays, petit fours, cookies and brownies.  Please sign up at FOR FOOD DONATIONS HERE.  If you can volunteer time, then please sign up here .  We will have convenient drop-off times on Friday afternoon, May 11th, and early Saturday morning, May 12th.  Let's ensure our 2012 Seniors and parents get a memorable send off from North Atlanta. Any questions please contact aileenharris@gmail.com or slcalcagno@bellsouth.net.
