Georgia Teen Mother Scholarship Local Scholarship Opportunity
The Georgia Teen Mother Scholarship focuses on helping teen mothers BEYOND high school. The scholarship is intended for teens already raising a child. Females who are high school seniors in the state of Georgia who are an active parent to a child must be accepted to any technical school or two- or four-year college to be eligible. The Golden Torch Awards (GTA) Scholarship Program is NSBE’s most prestigious award for pre-college students. The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship for First Years recognizes a group of female scholars and provides scholarships based on the strength of each candidate’s academic background, passion for computer science, community service and leadership. The Holocaust Remembrance Project conducts an annual essay competition for all students to write about the Holocaust. The essay must be primarily directed toward examining the annual essay topic.
