The Attributes ButtonThe attributes button allows us to view and edit the attributes of a given object (for example, the diameter of a pipe). The attributes button will initially appear greyed out and inactive. This is because there are no currently selected objects, and therefore no attributes to display. You can activate the attribute button by selecting an object in the map view. To do this, first tap on an area of the map you are interested in. You will notice a selection loading indicator has appeared (circled above). Once the selection request has finished, a list of the results will appear. The results list displays a list of the types of objects near the area selected. In this example, there are 5 types of objects: Stormwater Fittings, Stormwater Drains, Wastewater Retail Manholes, Water Retail Pipes and Wastewater Retail Pipes. 
You can click on any of the results to expand a drop down list which shows all the objects of that type that are near the area selected.
