5326 AUST WW2 COVERALLS "Sidcot" flying suit style. Khaki drill material. Made in 1943 by factory V321 (inner tag fully intact, external shelf tag has visible outline and remains of tag.) Medium size approx 34" waist for 5 foot 9 inch tall person. Styled with a midriff internal belt and double breasted tunic with large brown buttons. Two large upper thigh pockets and chest map pocket. Near new condition with some light soiling. Grade II+ $195*

5327 AUST WW2 Set of uniform all belonging to RAAF Air Observer Rex Dalrymple Stair. As well as research, it consists of: Blue Great Coat, Blue Service Jacket, Khaki Service Jacket, Khaki Trousers, Blue Trousers, Khaki Tunic Belt, 2 pairs of brown gloves and white cotton glove liners. Blue wool unlined Greatcoat. Some light moth grazing, and a small moth hole on the back, but covered by belt. All buttons intact, no stains, tears, etc. Great looking piece. Soft K/D lined service jacket. Has the shoulder titles of Flying Officer and overseas service chevrons on right sleeve. Has some mothing, especially to sleeves, no other stains or tears, and is of small-medium size. Khaki troisers, has mothing to legs, and all buttons intact. Good condition. Lined Blue Service Jacket, has overseas service chevrons. Very little mothing, good condition. All buttons on blue trousers intact. No mothing. Also includes Height and Airspeed computer, as well as a square of material, probably a handkerchief. Overall a very good set, the lines of which are very rare. Grade II-. $650

Rank of Air Commodore with sterling silver metal pilot's wings; 4 place medal ribbon bar for O.A.M, 1939-45 War Medal, 39-45 ASM and National Medal with rosette. QC Aluminium Anodised Buttons. Med-Large Size 41" chest and 41" waist trousers. 1971 dated. Shoulder Ranks. Good Display uniform. Grade II-. $325*

5329 BULGARIAN WW2 Grey Twill Army Tunic, Trousers and Grey Woollen Side cap. Four pocket tunic with deeply scalloped pocket flaps. Concealed front closure with seven grey zinc buttons. Two pairs of hooks and eyes to front neck closure. Officer's shoulderboards with two 25mm wide silver wire, braided stripes on a red underlay, white piping to the outer border. Gilded metal "RA" and royal cypher (Gilt worn on cypher) with a plain, domed silver button to each shoulderboard. Has a white braided cord aiguillette. S'boards and aguillette both appear to have been post-war applied. Tunic shows service wear with a very small hole to the back section. Grey twill joophur style trousers in VGC. Have re-enforced seat and inner knee sections. Two oblique angled slash pockets to front. One buttoned rear pocket. Has belt loops and brown plastic buttons for attaching braces. Grey zinc buttons to the fly. 3 grey zinc buttons to each lower leg closure. Ink stampings to inside of waistline. Light grey woollen side cap has O/A light soiling to exterior and interior cotton sweatband. An axis officer's tunic which is not often seen for sale in Australia. Grade II-. $850

5330 FRENCH WWI Circa 1910-1914 Lieutenant's Tunic and Kepi, from the 27th Regiment. The kepi has a black woollen band embroided with "27" in gold bullion. The body (crown) of the hat is red wool, with two gold bands indicating Lt. rank. A small section of these bands is detached at the back. Crown of hat features gold bullion Austrian knot. The visor is black leather, with fine cracks due to age. Complete with a bullion chinstrap and two brass buttons. Kepi in good condition, especially considering its age. There are two repairs in the red body of the hat, done with what appears to be glue. Tunic is made from black wool with inner lining of cotton. The cuffs are trained with bullion with three brass buttons on crimson rectangles. The collar is red and black, the black meeting at the front of the collar which is fastened by 3 hook and eye clasps, although there is only one hook remaining. All three eyes are intact. A gold bullion "27" is embroidered on the black section, matching that on the Kepi. Missing epaulettes, but all brass buttons are intact. There is also an inner belt and 2 rows of 3 buttons at the rear. There is some damage to the back of left sleeve and the bullion rim is slightly detached. There is mothing to the upper back and a small amount to the lower back, as well as various moth grazing, some pretty severe damage to the inner lining, fraying and one major hole. Although it doesn't take away from the price, which will display nicely with the Kepi. Grade II-. $1000

5331 ROYAL AIR FORCE BANDMAN'S BUSBY AND UNIFORM. A scarce Elizabeth II period example of the special pattern uniform worn by members of the RAS bands. Black fur flat top busby with gilt embriodery Queen's Crown RAF badge to the front. Gilt and blue twist cord strap. Light blue horsehair plume. Brass chin chain. Together with a blue high collar tunic. The collar with gilt braid edging and ornamented with embroidery eagles surmounted by a Queen's Crown. Bullion "RAF Regiment" titles and leading Aircraftsman propellors to both sleeves. Bullion shoulder cords and aiguillettes. Anodised QC RAF buttons. Complete with matching trousers with gilt braid seam edging. Grade II+ $950

5332 GB WW2 'WVS CIVIL DEFENCE' HAT UNIFORM LOT; attributed to Nanette Brooks. Consisting of Dress hat with badge, B/D Tunic with 'CD' on pocket this with trousers & skirt, Summer Work khaki dress with cloth insignia, CD Hand bag, 2 x Arm bands 'WVS' and 'CD'. Both KC, Misc. badges. VERY RARE SET OF WOMENS VOLUNTEER SERVICE AND CIVIL DEFENCE WW2 LOT. Grade II+ $550

5333 GB WW2 Scarce Army Padre's Service uniformand associated items. Attributable to Padre C F Gwyn-Lewis 279424 R.A.CH.D Includes khaki wool S/D tunic, not named but complete with tailors label, all black bakelite Chaplainry butttons, Corps collar badges, blackened brass pops for Captain rank and a two place sewn on ribbon bar for 1939-45 Star, and Burma Star. No damage or mothing. Officer's khaki S/D visor cap with Captaincy corps hat badge, brown leather chinstrap and G/S side buttons. No mothing but only a very small (tiny) hole to top. UK made slouch hat with press stud side pugareee and chinstrap as worn extensively in Malaya, Burma and India. 1943 dated, with some service use but no damage. Has had chaplain's corps badge to front and formation patch to the up turned side but removed. A scarce Royal Army Chaplains Dept stall (black full length neck sash) embroided with King's Crown Chaplain's Corps badges. Comes with originalset of medals (all unnamed as issued) 1939/45 Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal and War Medal. A nice display lot. Chaplains uniforms and accoutrements are very difficult to obtain. This one with service obviously in the Burma theatre. Grade II $1450

5334 GB WW2 + BLUES CEREMONIAL TUNIC, MAJOR GENERAL, ROYAL MARINES. Red tab with bullion inlay to collars. 2 row soft ribbon bar showing 39-45 star, Atlantic Star, Africa Star with Rosette, Burma Star with Rosette, War, Naval General Service 1915-62, 1953 Coronation. A nice Star rank ceremonial tunic. $125

5335 GERMAN WW2 Hitler Youth Winter Uniform consisting of the Winterbluse (Pull-over Tunic) and Uberfallhose (Trousers). Dark blue woollen tunic with 4x black plastic buttons to front closure. 2x Patch Style pleated breast pockets with a black plastic buttoned flap to each one. Reinforced cuffs, each secured by 2 black plastic buttons. Another black plastic button to each shoulder for attachment of shoulder straps which are now missing. Distinct triangle to upper left sleeve "Nord Nordsee". Signs of a narrow armband having been removed from the right sleeve. Size "46" label to inside of collar. No tears or mothing. Dark blue woolen trousers with buttoned fly near vertical slash pockets to either side of front and small fob pocket all with black plastic buttoned flaps. Two further buttoned flap pockets to rear. Waist adjusting strap to either side of rear. Has provision for suspenders and belt loops for the black leather belt. Dark grey tie strings to either ankle. Maker's label to inside lining "Renner, Kempten". Trousers show very heavy wear with mothing and a tear to the upper right leg (tear repaired). Section over knee area to left leg replaced. 2x Repaired holes to reinforced seat area. Some of the buttons on the trousers have been replaced. The majority are the original black plastic ones. Tunic - Grade II-, Trousers - Grade III+ $950

5336 GERMAN WW2 RAD Officer's Tunic and Trousers. Woolen Earth Brown Coloured tunic with a dark brown collar. Seven pebbled alum. buttons to front closure. Two brass sets of hooks and eyelets for front closure of collar with further pockets with straight edged buttoned flaps and two concealed lower pockets with slanted buttoned flaps. All pocket buttons are silver pebbled alum. As are the two buttons on the pleated rear. French cuffs to both sleeves. Hand-embroidered Alum. wire collar patches on black velvet underlay. Detachable shoulder boards of Alum. Wire with black "chevrons" on a black velvet underlay for rank of Feldmeister. Nice reed woolen multi-piece swastika armband to upper left sleeve. Imperial two place ribbon bar for the EK2 and Hindenburg Cross with swords, positioned above the left pocket with further provision for two awards on the pocket itself. Brown rayon lining to interior with the majority of the maker's label remaining to the back of collar. Has lower left interior pocket and striped lining to the sleeves. In line with the left armpit, from the collar to the hem, a strip of lining has been cut out for some unknown reason, but fortunately does not detract from the outward appearance of the tunic. The matching pair of Officer's earth brown trousers have a dark brown stripe down each outer seam. Two side pockets, fob pocket and one rear pocket. Four brown bakelite buttons to fly and hat belt loops plus provision for braces. Partial grey-green rayon lining to interior of waistline. Tunic and trousers show some areas of wear/moth damage which appear to have been professionaly repaired. The tunic certainly displays well on a mannequin. Grade II-. $2500

5337 HONG KONG 1970 ROYAL HONG KONG POLICE FORCE UNIFORM (COMPLETE). Rank of Senior Inspector (sub-unit commander). Lot consists of cotton drill shorts approx. 90cm waist. (Based on British KD shorts of WW2 style). Light olive green aertex shirt with two pleted breast pockets. Rib band bar for four medals: Colonial Police Medal (Gallantry), Queens Police Medal and 39-45 War Medal and General Service Medal (1918-62). Whitemetal rank bath stars and flat bar emblem to both epaulettes with "HKP" titles. Black lanyard with pillar - box whistle (English made) attached. Black polished sam browne belt and small revolver holster. Round Naval style hat with "Royal Hong Kong Police" tally band. (Approx size 56cms). Minimal use. Grade II+ $495

5338 HUNGARY WW2 ROYAL HUNGARIAN ARMY ENLISTED MAN'S UNIFORM lot. Consisting of a heavy wool khaki grey coat with large D/brown wool fleece collar. German pattern Hungarian M35 steel helmet. This retaining most of it's original green finish. Shell size "GY 64". Has basic Hungarian 3 pad linen and German style luftschutz chinstrap. Liner pads are present but mostly detached from the liner band. (These helmets are hard to find in their own right). Also included is an enlisted man's brown leather combat belt, single D/pouch ammunition carrier, pair of knee high brown leather lace up boots, Hungarian patt WW2 gas mask in tan canvas carry bag, a heavily worn tan canvas Hungarian haversack, dated 1941, and an aluminium cap/ canteen set. Together this would make a great axis uniform. Very hard to find as a lot. $1650

5339 ITALY WW2. SCARCE WINTER FLYING SUIT. TWO PIECE JACKET AND trousers by "Guisti" Rome. Khaki zip front parka style jacket with brown fur collar. Heavy wool detachable lining. Matching trousers, large leg pockets with zippers. Has same heavy detachable lining. Both mint. Unissued with pockets still stitched up. A very scarce outfit. Grade I. $1000

5340 ITALY WW2 FASCIST BLACK SHIRT MILITIA UNIFORM. Pull-over style black woollen jacket with four black plastic buttons to the upper front closure. Two pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps. A black plastic closure button to each flap. Evidence of a sewn on ribbon bar having been removed from above the left breast pocket. Sleeve cuffs are fastened by two black plastic buttons. Black woollen trousers with one black buttoned rear pocket. Belt loops, (no belt). Five black plastic buttons to the fly. Black but to each lower leg. No labels to jacket or trousers but both a small size. C/W a 1st pattern MVSN FEZ, insignia and an original black tassel to the front. Brown leather sweatband marked "extra quality" pale gold lining with a maker's logo. Sweatband showing wear and fraying to the lining. No moth damage to the tunic, trousers or the FEZ. Grade II- $850*

5341 NZ WW1 Important OTAGO REGT Commanding Officer's S/D tunic, belt and cap. Four pocket khaki winter S/D tunic with brass "New Zealand Forces" buttons. Cuff rank for Lt-Colonel, knotted shoulder straps. Brass regimental collar badges. Two place stitched ribbon bar for Colonial Auxilliary Forces Long Service Medal and the New Zealand Long and Efficient Service Medal. O/a light moth nips and some serious moth damage to the sleeves (One to the left above the rank and on the right to the rear above the rank. This not detracting. C/W matching officer's S/D peaked cap with regimental hat badge and brown leather chinstrap. Marked "The trench cap" with London maker, (missing the sweatband) Reputedly attributed to a Lt-Col McDonald but nothing named A fine example of an early WW1 officer's uniform. The Otago Regt served Egypt, Gallipoli, France and Flanders 1914-18. Grade II- $3500

5350 AUST WW2 NURSING SISTER'S GREY TUNIC. Rank of Captain. Made by. David Jones, Sydney. Small size. 3 Yr. Service Chevrons to lower right sleeve. Both upper arms have colour patches (2 x lge, 2 x sml) being for 2nd/6th Australian General Hospital (small patch) and the Australian Womens Hospital (large patches). Overall good condition. Light soiling to a spot or two on front. A very desirable and rare tunic. Grade II- $850

There are a number of rust stains to the tunic. (But does not overly detract) comes with KD belt and oxy buckle. Grade II- $150

5374 AUST WW2 AIF EM'S WINTER S/D TUNIC. Khaki wool. Has all AMF buttons, Australia titles and Rising Sun collars. Named to NX 57140 GW Kurtz. Has original collar patches for HQ 27 BDE. Button detached from front but included. Pte GW Kurtz enlisted 25 July 1940. Disch 11/12/45. Last posting was HQ 27 BDE. Grade II- $450*

5375 AUST WW2 TUNIC SERVICE DRESS ENLISTED MAN'S, KHAKI WOOLEN SERGE. Waist 85cm chest 95-100cm. Missing makers tag. Pre- 1942 style with external belt/pockets. All buttons & badges intact.
