4. The Person of Jesus Christ. Jesus was fully human (John 1:1-2,14). Jesus was fully God (John 10:30). Jesus exercised divine works. Jesus possessed divine attributes. Jesus received worship as God. Jesus died for our sins (the atonement. Jesus was resurrected from the grave. Jesus will come again to usher in the eternal kingdom of God (Matt. 25:31-46).
5. The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God. Lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God (Acts 5:3-4). God gives life, Jesus gives life (1 John 5:11-12); the Holy Spirit gives life (John 3:5). Further evidence that the Spirit is God (2 Cor. 3:17, 18; 1 John 3:24, 1 John 4:12-15). The Holy Spirit is the personal God, not an impersonal force.
