The altar is usually depicted with its base to the north and
its flames rising southwards, pointing to the new myth we are attempting to inaugurate here for the Southern Sky and the Starry Gnosis. This altar can then be correlated with the Greek myth that Ara as the altar on which Centaurus is about to sacrifice Lupus, the wolf connecting this card to the Peh Atu. And in such alight, the kisses
of the stars being the fire, it is that fire in the Tower of Babel that connects Earth and Heaven as the formula of Redemption.
