Coach Stanley Wise:

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Coach Wise was a three-year varsity letterman in baseball at Chamblee and was named team captain his senior year. He received a scholarship to play baseball at Gordon College where he was selected as a Georgia Junior College Athletic Association All-Star, and later received a scholarship to play baseball at Georgia State University, where he received his degree in Psychology. After college, Wise returned to Chamblee as assistant varsity baseball coach and helped lead Chamblee to the best combined four-year record in school history. During his tenure at Chamblee, the Bulldogs tied the school record for wins in a season and advanced to the playoffs twice. During that stint the program saw 85% of its graduating seniors receive offers to play college baseball. Wise has also held coaching positions with L.E.A.D. Legacy (led by C.J. Stewart) and East Cobb baseball, as well as the Browns Mill Barons 16U travel team. Outside of baseball, Wise holds an executive position at his local church and is the current youth pastor. He and his wife Tuwan spend most of their free time enjoying their three young boys Trey, Gabe, and Titus.



Coach Jon Greer:

As a native of the Atlanta area, Coach Jon attended Morrow High School where he lettered in football and baseball. After graduation, he accepted a baseball scholarship to attend Gordon College, where he achieved the accolade of being a Georgia Junior College Athletic Association All-Star. As a breakout player with Gordon, Coach Jon was recruited by a number of schools but chose Virginia State University, where he assisted the team in winning two CIAA championships.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Management, Coach Jon realized his passion for scouting and coaching. While working with the Atlanta Braves, to further increase his skill set and knowledge base, Coach Jon attended the Atlanta Braves Scout School. As a member of the Buck O'Neil Professional Scouts and Coaches Association, he acted as an assistant to professional scouts with a number of MLB teams as well as an assistant instructor for the Atlanta Braves “Play Bill” clinics.  Coach Jon has also participated in the Smoltz-Grissom Wood Bat Classic, which served as one of the first wood bat tournaments for inner city youth.
With a deep passion for youth in baseball, Coach Jon is a co-founder of J.R.E.A.M. a community action group and currently serves as Vice President for the organization “AIM for Youth” ("AIM").  "AIM" is a non-profit organization that affords professional athletes, entertainers, business and civic leaders with an opportunity to give back to their community. "AIM" highlights Health & Wellness, Education, Athletics, and Mentoring, and delivers needed services to undeserved youth. Coach Jon has also served as a mentor for L.E.A.D. Legacy.
When Coach Jon is not playing baseball or coaching and mentoring others, he is busy being a wonderful father to two beautiful daughters, Kennedie and Kendall.

Ennis Coble:

Ennis returns to the Hawks for his second full season of work this year. Ennis returns to us after a year as an advanced scouting intern with the Boston Red Sox organization. While in Boston he also attended the MLB Scouting Bureau development program. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he played baseball all four years and ended with a career .328 batting average along with 182 hits, 115 runs scored, and 101 RBI’s. During his time at Dartmouth Ennis played in four Ivy League championships winning one in 2010. Prior to Dartmouth Ennis was a four year varsity Baseball letterman at Chamblee Charter High School. He currently resides in Lithonia GA and is set to begin Law school in the fall of 2015.



Coach Joseph Holsendolph:

A native of Stone Mountain Joe grew up playing Stone Mountain Youth baseball and 3 years Varsity baseball for Clarkston High school. He Attended Georgia Southern University and was a member of the GSU baseball club. Coach Joe joined Hawks baseball in 2013 and has helped develop the program as well as the players in the Hawks program for the past several years. Coach Joe also coaches the DHYS Barons in the Middle School League. He is recently engaged and expects his first child in May 2015.
