Thesis Writing Instructor

The thesis writing teacher should have a background in conducting research in their field.

He is expected to carry out the following functions:



  • Educates the students on format and content of the research project and the process of doing it.

  • Divides the thesis class into groups with at most four (4) members.

Thesis Writing Instructor

  • Coordinates with research coordinator regarding the schedule of the title defense, thesis proposal defense and final oral defense.

  • Recommends to the research coordinator the members of the thesis panel, thesis adviser and thesis reader.

  • Check the proper disciplinary format and content of the research projects.


Thesis Adviser

The thesis adviser should be expert on their field and should have master’s degree (with master’s thesis). If there is no one available, somebody who is in thesis writing phase in the master’s program may be chosen or the least would be somebody who is pursuing their master’s degree.

The thesis adviser should also:



  • Coordinate with the cluster head regarding the research projects to be conducted are in accordance with the research agenda of the institution or CHED.

Thesis Adviser

  • Coordinate with the cluster head regarding the research projects to be conducted are in accordance with the research agenda of the institution or CHED.

  • Monitor the progress of the research work.

  • Make sure that the observations given by the members of the panel are incorporated in the research paper.

  • Coordinate with the thesis reader and thesis writing teacher regarding the thesis output.
