Activating bar code scans
When bar code scans are activated, mobile device users can scan bar codes to review work order details.
About this task
By default, bar code scanning is turned off, but it can be turned on in the app-feature.properties file.
When you activate bar code scans, the updated app must be deployed as anew app version. Users must download and install the new app version from the server.

Procedure
1.
Open the app-feature.properties file in the Anywhere\MaximoAnywhere\apps\
app_name
folder, locate the barcode.enabled property, and set this property to true
2.
Build and deploy the application.
