Connecting to the THCBYOD wireless for Android devices

Note - Routed android devices cannot currently connect to our wireless network.




  1. Go to Settings and then Wi-Fi, turn it on and select “thcpublic”.





  2. Open Internet and browse to any Web page and the following screen will be displayed.




  1. Select “Click here to Onboard your device”.



  1. Enter your Henley College username and password and select “Log In” to register your device.





  1. Select “Install QuickConnect”. You will then need to install ClearPass QuickConnect from the Play Store. Click open once the App is installed.




  1. Click ok on the next screen.






  1. Select “Click here to Onboard your device”.




  1. Select “Next”.

  2. Select “Install Network Profile” and select “ClearPass QuickConnect”.




  1. If you see the message below you will need to install a unlock pattern, PIN or password before you can continue.





  1. Select ok to the first Certificate name.

  2. Select ok and Enter pin code 1234 to install user Certificate.





  1. Select ok to the Second Certificate name.




  1. The following screen will be displayed, Select ok, and this will automatically connect to thcbyod Wi-Fi. You can now use the Wi-Fi.





  1. If your Wi-Fi does not work then you may need to disable Auto Network Switching. Open Wi-Fi Settings on your Android device and Disable Network Auto Switch option.




Uncheck "Auto network switch”.
