This map is not intended as guidance for specific projects, but instead provides an overall view of the potential predicted habitat within the state. It does not include a number of areas where Townsend’s big-eared bats are known to occur. The range of COTO within the state of OR has been suggested to include the entire state excluding only the highest elevations (P. Ormsbee, personal communication). The utility of this map may therefore be limited.
