Specific Goal: I wish to again join a progressive company in a QA/QC technical and capacity. Jan./13 to Current: Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk / Marine Superintendent
Currently, I am employed with Apexindo in Balikpapan, Indonesia, in the capacity of Marine Superintendent. My duties include all marine related issues for our drilling rigs. I am responsible for preparing all rig move procedures and moving all our swamp and jack-up rigs. Currently, I am managing the construction, commissioning and delivery of two new JU-2000 jack-up drilling rigs in Dalian, China. I have completed the first rig and delivered the rig to Labuan, Malaysia to begin new contract and will be attending the construction and commissioning of the second rig immediately.
History: AMS (Atlantic Marine Services) Aug. 2012 – Nov. 2012
AMS retained me to heavy lift 2 rigs (Atlantic Tiburon 1 & 3) from Singapore to Tampico, Mexico. I loaded both rigs on the Dockwise M/V Treasure and proceeded to Tampico. While on the journey I completed surveys and shipyard work scopes for the rigs. I completed this project early November. Again, AMS retained me again to wet tow the AT2 from Galveston Texas to Ciudad Del Carmen. Dec, 29/2012 – Jan. 17/2013. Completed safely and efficiently in difficult seas.
OCS (Offshore Commissioning Solutions)/Aug.2011 – June 2012

I was hired for commissioning marine, mechanical, electrical and drilling operating systems on 2 new Friede Goldman Super M2’s being built in CIMC Raffles Shipyard in Yantai, China. I also completed inclination testing and jacking trials and preparing for delivery of the rigs on two projects.



ISO MEXICO / JAN. 2011 TO MAY 2011

Hired to accept new build from MIS shipyard in Sharjah and initiate operations with Pemex. Move rig several times and complete inspections with Pemex.



ARABIAN DRILLING COMPANY / OCT. 2009 – OCT. 2010

Employed with Arabian Drilling Company, I was responsible for retrofit of the rig to ADC standards and training of personnel for the marine and maintenance positions on the rig. Previously Sea-Drill 3. Keppel Mod 5 “B’ Class


PREMIUM DRILLING CAYMAN LTD. / SEPT. 2007 – MAY 2009
Employed on the Premium Wilboss as Barge Engineer. The Wilboss is a Keppel Fels built Mod 5 B-Class Jack-up. 517ft Legs. While commissioning the rig in Singapore, I was present for Jacking Trials, Load testing, Endurance Testing. I moved the rig to Vietnam for start-up and completion of drilling at several locations, further on to Philippines and to Bo Hai Bay, China for additional projects.
SEADRILL MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. / FEB. 2006 – MAY 2007

Responsibility: Bargemaster / Barge Engineer


Employed on the Seadrill 3, I was responsible for a Keppel Fels Mod 5 new build Jack Up rig / 430ft legs. During the commissioning of this rig in Singapore, I was present for Jacking Trials, Load testing, Endurance Testing and Inclination Testing. Post to commissioning, I readied the rig for the heavy lift move to West Africa and executed the move. On and off the heavy lift vessel. Normal Marine and Bargemaster duties are completed daily and all rig move responsibilities i.e.: stability / VDL / rig jacking / preloading / maintenance are handled routinely.

NOBLE DRILLING NIGERIA LTD. / OCT. 1996 – FEB. 2006

Responsibility: Barge Engineer / Noble Lloyd Noble


While employed with Noble Drilling in West Africa my responsibility included the normal duties and functions of a Barge Engineer / Chief Engineer. This position here included entire rig maintenance (electro/mechanical) / construction / retrofit and enforcement of the entire maintenance program. Projects completed were items such as adding mud pump (wiring and piping for same) partial hull replacement, top drive overhauls, quarter’s upgrades and additions, shipyard upgrades, EMD overhauls and much more.
