  1. Magic Touch Add-On Kit (KTMT series) mounting:

    1. Measure the top frame of the monitor. If it is 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) or less, use the top hole on the hangers to snap or screw into the touch screen panel (see 3.2.). Otherwise, use the bottom hole.

<<<
3.2. Place the touch screen panel on a flat table with the backside facing up. Snap or screw (depends on the models) two hangers into the back of the panel. For snap type, push the tab slightly towards the panel and push hanger down. Do not apply excessive force. >>>

3.3. Hang the touch screen onto the monitor in center position. Use a pencil to mark the hangers’ position on top of the monitor.

<<<

3.4. Remove the touch screen from the monitor. Adhere two pieces of Velcro strips (provided) onto the top of the monitor near the pencil marks. >>>

3.5. Mount the touch screen panel onto the monitor with the hangers aligned to the Velcro strips. Keep the touch screen as close to the monitor as possible.

<<<

3.6. Press down the hangers to fasten the Velcro strips.

>>>

3.7. For additional security, you may adhere the Velcro at the bottom of the screen too. ( It will be more difficult to remove the screen if needed.)

<<<

3.8. Adhere the 3 cable clips to the side of the monitor to organize and secure the cable. This can also prevent the screen from dropping down to the ground directly when it gets knocked off from the monitor. >>>

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE PROCEDURES TO AVOID ANY ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT.

Continue to section 6 for controller installation.

  1. Magic Touch Monitor (KTSC & KTLC series) connection:

The Magic Touch monitor (CRT & LCD) connection has two steps. First, the monitor should be connected to the computer as instructed in the monitor’s manual, which typically involves the power cord and video cable connection. Second, connect the flat phone type touch screen cable from the back of the monitor to the magic touch controller (continue to section 6 for controller installation).

  1. Magic Touch Built-In Kit (KTT series) integration:

The built-in kits must be integrated by experienced technician. A general guide for integration is available upon request. However, the instruction provided does not guarantee the success of the integration. The integrator will be solely responsible for any potential damage to the monitor and touch screen kit. After touch screen integration, please follow the controller installation in section 6.

  1. Controller Installation:

    1. Pro Controller (Windows 98, 3.1, NT4.0)

WARNING: TURN OFF THE COMPUTER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
