JEAN-LUC GAUDIOT
is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. His research interests include multithreaded architectures, fault-tolerant multiprocessors, and implementation of reconfigurable architectures. He received a PhD in computer science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Gaudiot is a Fellow of IEEE and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and current president of the IEEE Computer Society. Contact him at gaudiot@
