RESEARCH FOCUS

Primary clinical research interests in the epidemiology and treatment of incontinence and prolapse disorders in the female. In particular population prevalence, and distribution in minority populations. Also involved in clinical evaluations of pharmacologic and surgical therapies of incontinence and prolapse. Secondary clinical interests in epidemiology, and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, surgical procedures for pelvic reconstruction and the difficult vaginal hysterectomy.
