Install an SSH client on PC-A and PC-C.
• If the SSH client is not already installed, download either TeraTerm or PuTTY.
• Save the application to the desktop.
Note: The procedure described here is for PuTTY and pertains to PC-A.

Verify SSH connectivity to R from PC-A.
• Launch PuTTY by double-clicking the putty.exe icon.
• Input the R Fa IP address 192.168.1.1 in the Host Name (or IP address) field.
Verify that the SSH radio button is selected.


• Click Open.
• In the PuTTY Security Alert window, click Yes.
Enter the admin username and password cisco12345 in the PuTTY window.
• At the R privileged EXEC prompt, enter the show users command. Rb show users

user01pass in the PuTTY window to try connecting for user who does not have privilege level of
