What We Believe
This church accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts the following statement of fundamental truths:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in Godhead; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal visible future return to receive unto Himself His blood bought church that it may be with Him forever.
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through the blood of Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit – and this is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We believe in the baptism in water as a public demonstration of a clear conscience with God.
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

What we believe
We believe…
… in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the Word of God, that both Old and New Testaments are inerrant in the original writings and are supreme and final authority for faith and the details of life.
…in the Holy Trinity of the Godhead, existing as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are distinct yet having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfection.
…the eternal existence of Jesus Christ as God. His incarnation and virgin birth. His death on the cross as substitutional atonement for all mankind’s sin; His literal bodily resurrection from the dead; His present ministry of intercession in Heaven; His future return to the earth.
…the Holy Spirit as the third Person of the Godhead; He convicts men of sin, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, sets apart believers daily; He is a teacher of the Word of God and the Guide for daily living.
…that all men descended from Adam whom God created (not evolved) innocent and pure; Adam fell through the sin of disobedience. Therefore, all men are corrupt in body, soul and spirit and in need of redemption.
… that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus alone, it is the gift of God apart from works. Salvation requires repentance towards God apart and turning aways from one’s own way; salvation is through personal faith in the Lord Jesus and His finished work; the Holy Spirit regenerates all who receive Jesus and makes them the children of God; that true salvatoin is an inward gift that manifests outward by a changed life.
…the infilling with the Holy Spirit as en empowerment of believers for effective service for God. We believe in the manifestation of all spiritual gifts; As signs of the infilling of the Spirit, these gifts are still valid in the Church today.
…that Jesus will catch up or rapture all true believers one day. We believe in the personal, visible and bodily return of Jesus to this earth; bodily resurrection of all unbelievers to judgement and everlasting punishment in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and all his followers.
