obit: Mr. Gavoille grew up and attended schools in Tyhee. After school he wored as a ranch hand in Montana and Iaho. On Apr 3, 1942, he entered the U.S. Navy servicing until Nov. 10, 1945. He then went to Ogden, Utah, where he was a bus driver until moving to the Berthoud area where he wored on dairy farms. On Feb 25, 1954, he married Viola Brehm in Fort Collins. They moved to Weld Co where they farmed in the Ault and Eaton areas. They moved to Eaton in 1974. He had wored at Agland Inc, Harsh Hoists and in maintenance at Eaton School Dist 2 until his retirement in 1988. Survivors are his wife, Viola of Eaton; two daughters, Shelly Govoille and Mrs. Betty Rickard both of Greeley; three sisters and three grandchildren.

Obit: Mr. Huwa grew up and attended schools in Windsor where he graduated from high school. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he farmed and ran a dairy in the Gill area until he retired in 1977. As a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Windsor, he served as a deacon and treasurer on the Church Council. He also was a member of Post No 109 American Legion in WIndsor.

He loved sports and fishing. He enjoyed fishing with his family, watching his grandchildren play ball and exhibiting livestock at the fairs. Survivors are his wife, Ella Mae of Greeley; two sons, Glenn of Holyoke and Richard (Dick) of Windsor.

He and Lillian Brehm were married Sept 10, 1950 and made their home in the Windsor area. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Lane of Greeley; one son, Ronald, at home; two brothers and three sisters.

Elizabeth K. JOHNSON, 96, of Berthoud died Feb. 17, 2006, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.

She was born Oct. 17, 1909, in Norka, Russia, to John and Margaret Sterkel Krieger.

She moved from Russia to Galveston, Texas, in 1912, then moved to Berthoud in 1913.

She married Willie Tony Johnson in June 1930 in Berthoud and became a citizen in the 1930s.

She was a homemaker, a very active member of the Berthoud First United Methodist Church and a member of the Busy Bee Club.

Mrs. Johnson enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, baking, singing in the choir, quilting at the church, playing cards and working with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur Lee Johnson and wife Sara Lynn of Berthoud, and William Dean Johnson and wife Teri of Berthoud; two daughters, Marjorie Werschke of Arvada and Charlene Brehm and husband Robert of Berthoud; brother John Krieger Jr. of Berthoud; sister Mary Kaiser of Loveland; grandchildren Cheri Stevenson, Bruce Werschke, James Brehm, Kristie Anne Levitt, Eric Lee Johnson, Shelby Charise Johnson, Ashley Elizabeth Johnson, Kelsey Lee Johnson and Bailey Renae Johnson; great grandchildren Elijah Lee Stevenson, Brian James Brehm, Sheena Elizabeth Brehm; step-great grandchildren Joseph Finney, Nichole Finney and Nick Finney; and great-great grandchildren Claire Elizabeth Levitt and Penelope Marie Levitt.

She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers George, Conrad and Adam; sisters Christine Katherine and Anna; and son-in-law Lee Werschke.

2. Part of the Obit: ENFA Michael Alan Heiser, 18, 2900 W 11th St Road was killed Monday in a motorcycle-train collision east of Windsor. Born in Greeley, Sept 4, 1956, Heiser was graduated from Greeley West High School in 1974. He entered the Navy on June 27, 1974.

Prior to Navy service, he worked at Colorado-Kenworth and took four years of auto mechanics in high school. Also, Heiser worked part-time for Carlson Construction.
