From the above figures, it is obvious that construction waste observe a significant increase throughout these
7 years. This is mainly due to the large number of hotels and casino constructions in Macau and the construction wastes reaches as high as 3,118,253
min. This is causing severe damage to the environment and also gives pressure to Macau’s waste handling capacity.
