Dudley Gray

Subsea Systems Engineer

Overview

Mr. Gray has 43 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry with equipment suppliers, engineering service companies, and operators. This experience brings high value to fast track projects to ensure schedule is properly planned and achieved. Mr. Gray is a team player with proven track record in several recognized subsea projects with responsibility for important packages in such projects.

Subsea tree experience ranges from simple diver assisted trees, installed on mudline suspension systems drilled by jack-ups, to the most sophisticated 15 ksi deepwater trees; both vertical trees installed on tubing head spools and horizontal trees with capability for on-tree and downhole chemical injection, plus downhole gas lift and smart well functions.

One horizontal tree example included dual production hubs to enable jumper connections to both a manifold production test header and a manifold combined production header, thus eliminating the need for actuated valves and an SCM on the manifold. Trees, well jumpers and manifolds were integrated with an array of ROV-capable hot water hydrate remediation small diameter tubing runs installed on valve blocks, valves, jumpers, & header flowline piping before insulation was applied are among detailed project experience base.
