AIAA-2015-3867 Effect of Water and Humidity on Hypergolic Propellant Ignition Delay
Table 3. The NH streak shows a 60% longer onset time (p-value = 0.11) for increased water concentration. The intensity of all streaks is decreased over 85% for increased water concentration (p-value = 0.13 for OH and 0.14 for NH. These trends are shown in Figure 10. Figure 10. Neat TEAB photodiode max voltage (a, NH onset time (b, OH peak intensity (c, and NH peak intensity (db i. MMH Trends Neat MMH was tested at the same humidity levels and oxidizer water concentration levels as TEAB. The IDT observed for MMH reacting with WFNA were much slower than that of TEAB (the fastest MMH IDT recorded on video was 20 ms and the slowest was 151 ms. Since the streak camera can only record up toms of data, it missed most MMH ignition events. Because of this, there isn’t sufficient data to find any trends in the streak data.
