("Thomas Cavender") born about 1780 and is believed to be the same Thomas Cavender who married Amy Dawley ("Amey Dawley"?) on June 15, 1803 or on June 11, 1803 in the Lower Norfolk District of Princess Anne County, Virginia (which is now the independent City/County known as Virginia Beach, Virginia) with the ceremony being conducted by Rev. Charles Henley. Following the death of Thomas Cavender, Jr., widow Mrs. Amey Dawley Cavender ("Amy Cavender") married John Absalom in Princess Anne County, Virginia on June 31, 1832. The ceremony was conducted by George Morriss ("George Morris"), a Baptist minister with the surety being David Dowley ("David Dawley"?), 133, 149, 294, 350 & 355 It is said by some that Thomas Cavender and Amy Cavender ("Amey Cavender"?) had a daughter named:

(V) ROBERT CAVENDER, born about 1732, apparently married a Sarah Bedwell, 269 and in 1776 was living in Transquakin Hundred, Dorchester County, Maryland. HiS Last Will and Testament was probated on August 13, 1815 and was administered from August 13, 1815 until September 12, 1816 in Kent County, Maryland (some say in Sussex County, Delaware), with his wife Sarah Cavender being appointed the Administratrix. An inventory of his estate was filed on May 7, 1822 by his widow, Sarah Cavender, and Gifford Soward. Named in his Will were his children: John Cavender, Samuel Cavender, Robert Cavender, Thomas Cavender, Reuben Cavender and Sally Cavender who married Samuel Enls. 269 & 330 Also mentioned in his Will was Deborah Cavender. According to the book entitled "Miami Valley Genealogies", Vol 2, Families A to K by Lindsay M. Brien, page 46,413 the estate of Robert Cavender was administered in Sussex County, Delaware on September 12, 1816,Del. Ar., Book A-8, p 20 which named his heirs, wife and children. The estate of Sarah Cavender was administered on April 25, 1822 in Kent County, Delaware, and also mentioned as her heirs were various Bedwells. ROBERT CAVENDER was born before 1755, either in Delaware or in Dorchester County, Maryland. However, his first four children were born in Delaware before 1800, at which time he was living in Mispellion, Kent County, Delaware. According to the 1776 census, Robert Cavender was then living in Transquakin Hundred in Dorchester County, Maryland, and his family then consisted of 1 male under 10, 1 male 21-30, and 1 female 16-21. He apparently married a Sarah Cavender, and a son and a daughter was born between 1790-1800 and two sons were born between 1785-1790. Robert Cavender died in Kent County, Maryland about August 1815, and his estate was administered from August 30, 1815 to September 12, 1816 by his wife, Sarah Cavender.
JOHN CAVENDER was born in Maryland about 1768, married Rachal Wilcox ("Rachel Wilcox") about 1800 in Maryland, went to Miami County, Ohio about 1804 or 1805 when the Indians were plenty and during which time all his money of $700 in gold was stolen. He died without leaving a will on June 6, 1841 in Miami County, Ohio at the age of 73, and is buried in the Old Lost Creek Baptist Cemetery in Lost Creek Township, Miami County, Ohio. Rachel Wilcox was born in 1785 in Maryland, died August 17, 1850 at St. Mary's, Ohio at the age of 65. Evilsizer ("Levi Evilsizer") born about 1850 in Ohio, married Ardilla Banta, was a member of the Nazarene Church, died May 25, 1937 in Ridgeville in Randolph County, Indiana at the age of 77 years and at the home of his son, Bert Evilsizer, and is buried in the Claycomb Cemetery in Redkey, Indiania. Ardilla Banta was the daughter of Joseph L. Banta? ("Joseph Banta") who was born October 17, 1830 in Preble County, Ohio and was the son of Peter Banta also born in Ohio and Elizabeth Brown born in North Carolina. Levi Evilsizer was a member of the Nazarine Church, died at the home of his son Bert Evilsizer, and is buried in the Claycomb Cemetery in Redkey, Indiana.
