She was listed in the obituary of her brother as living in Bristow, Creek County, Oklahoma in July 1943. Town Cantrell was born on December 4, 1882, and died in either October 1965 or on October 29, 1963444 at the age of 80 years. Town Cantrell and Parthenia Cantrell were the parents of only one daughter named:

Peggy Frances Parthenia Cantrell ("Peggie Cantrell", "Peggy Cantrell" & "Frances Cantrell") who was born on November 25, 1921, married Leonard Norton Devonshire ("Leonard Devonshire"), and died in 1986. Leonard Devonshire was born in October 1923 and died prior to 1983. Leonard Devonshire and Peggy Devonshire had a son named:

Mary Cavender died on September 18, in Porum, Oklahoma. John Cavender and Mary Cavender did not have any children. However, he did have a daughter out of wedlock by Era Garnett named:

Arbel Cavender born on November 2, 1895, first married Paul D. Crawford ("Paul Crawford"), and died August 23, 1986 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Paul Crawford was born July 4, 1896, and died of tuberculosis in October 1922 at the age of 26 years. Arbel Crawford later married Samuel Perkins Galloway ("Samuel Galloway") on April 29, 1929 when she was 33 years of age. James Thomas was born on March 16, 1850 in Graves County, Kentucky, and died October 19, 1914 at the age of 64 years. James Thomas and Henrietta Thomas were the parents of five children:

William Samuel Cavender ("William Cavender", “W.S. Cavender” & "Will Cavender") born June 6, 1868 in Dukedom, Graves County, Kentucky, married Eva M. Pace ("Eva Pace"), died July 28, 1919 in Oklahoma, and is buried in Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky. Eva Pace was part Indian and after the death of William Cavender, she married Issac Cannon ("Isac Cannon") and moved to Texas. The children of William Cavender and Eva Cavender were 2 daughters:

Nannie Belle Cavender (Anna Bell Cavender"?, "Anna Cavender", “N.B. Cavender” & "Nannie Cavender") who died when she was 8 years of age and is buried in Oklahoma; and,

Marjorie Cavender born about 1913, married Louis Tibbs ("Louie Tibbs"?), died about 1930, and is buried in Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky. Louis Tibbs was the cousin of Bert Tibbs. Louis Tibbs and Marjorie Tibbs had a child who died at birth in the Mayfield Hospital in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky;

Rachel M. Cavender ("Rachel M. Cavender"?, "Rachael Cavender"?, “R.M. Cavender” & "Rachel Cavender") born on April 7, 1870, married George W. Witt ("George Witt") on September 1, 1889 when she was 12 years of age, and died on May 27, 1963 at the age of 86, and is buried in the Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Graves County, Kentucky. George Witt was born on December 16, 1864, was 24 years of age when he married Rachel, died on February 26, 1926 at the age of 61 years, and is buried with his wife. Rachel Cavender's speciality was making lye soap. The children of George Witt and Rachel Witt were:

Oma Witt born on September 21, 1890, never married, died on November 1, 1974 at the age of 84 years, and is buried in Old Bethel Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky;

Catherine Witt born on January 18, 1894, married Frederick Douglas Olive ("Frederick Olive" & "Fred Olive") on October 16, 1910 when she was 16 years old, was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, died on May 20, 1955 at the age of 61 years, and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. On her tombstone, her name is spelled “Cathran”. Fred Olive was born on November 9, 1880, and was either the son of Charles Lewis Olive ("Charles Olive") or Louis Douglas Olive ("Louis Olive") and Martha Jane Cornelia Hainline ("Martha Hainline" & "Jane Hainline"), became a farmer, died on April 9, 1949 at the age of 68, and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. According to a Jerry I. Steele ("Jerry Steele"), Fred Olive had a first cousin named Peter Hainline ("Pete Hainline") who had 3 children named: Jess Hainline who married a Monette; Myrtle Hainline who married S.S. Turnbow; and, Halley Burton Hainline ("Halley Hainline"). According to legend, Fred Olive worked on the George Witt farm and he decided he wanted to marry his daughter Catherine Witt but she was considered to young to marry. Fred Olive went away for a while and then returned when Catherine Witt was old enough to marry him. Fred Olive and Catherine Olive had 3 children:

Rubye Mae Olive ("Ruby Mae Olive", "Ruby Olive" & "Rubye Olive") born on October 9, 1914 in Obion County, Tennessee, married Alvis I. Steele ("Alvis Steele" & “Alvin Steele”?) in 1937 when she was 22 years of age in Fulton, Fulton County, Kentucky, belonged to the Pilot Oak, Kentucky Church of Christ, died on January 7, 1990 in Union City, Obion County, Tennessee when she was 75 years of age, and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. Alvis Steele was born either on January 2, 1909 or in February 1909, 444 in Graves County, Kentucky, was the son of William Ferdinand Steele ("William Steele" & "Ferd Steele") and Winnie Ann Timmons ("Winnie Timmons") in Fulton, Fulton County, Kentucky, died on April 17, 1982 in Graves County, Kentucky at the age of 73 years. Alvis Steele and Ruby Steele had 5 children:

Jimmie Daryl Steele (“Jimmie Steele” & "James Steele"), a twin born September 20, 1940 in Dukedon, Tennessee, married Yoshiko Noro on September 19, 1966 in Sapporo, Japan when he was 25 years of age. Yoshiko Noro was on February 1, 1940 in Tomakomai, Japan.

Rita Carol Olive ("Rita Olive") born September 21, 1947, and married James Thomas Jones (“James Jones”) who was born on May 29, 1941. James Jones and Rita Jones (“Carol Jones”) had 2 children:

Leslie Noelle Jones (“Leslie Jones”) born on December 25, 1965; and,

Angela Renee Jones (“Angela Jones”) born on April 20, 1971; and,

James Randall Olive ("James Olive") born in 1958.

Merritt Sisk and Rosalea Sisk had an adopted son named:



James Randall Sisk ("James Sisk") born on June 10, 1958;

Silas Cantrell Witt ("Silas Witt" & "Uncle Witt") born May 8, 1895, first married Dathan Yates on December 1, 1910 when he was 15 years of age, later married Bessie Austin on April 20, 1924 when he was 28 years of age, died on December 25, 1940 at the age of 45 years, and is buried in the Pinegar Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. Silas Witt and Bessie Witt had no children. Dathan Yates was born on either February 19, 1894 even though her cemetery stone gives her birth as February 18, 1894, died on July 26, 1921 at the age of 27 years, and is buried in the Pinegar Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. Bessie Austin was born on October 21, 1895, was the daughter of T. Bart Austin and Locky Virginia Dallas ("Locky Dallas"), died on February 17, 1978 in Kentucky at the age of 82 years, and is buried in the Pinegar Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. Apparently, according to her headstone, she was born on October 25, 1895. Cantrell Witt and Dathan Witt had one son named:

J.C. Witt, who was born on October 30, 1918, married Ruby Marie Tibbs ("Ruby Tibbs") on July 1, 1939 when he was 20 years of age, later separated, died on June 14, 1980 at the age of 61 in Orlando, Florida, and is buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Dukedom, Tennessee. Ruby Tibbs was born on February 15, 1921 and was the sister of Bert Tibbs. J.C. Witt and Ruby Witt had 5 children:

Dathan Ann Witt ("Datha Ann Witt"?, "Dathan Witt" & "Datha Witt"?) born November 24, 1941, married a Gore, and lived in South Fulton, Weakley County, Kentucky;

Glenda Witt married a Wade, and lived in South Fulton, Weakley County, Kentucky;

Penny Witt married a Fields, and lived in South Fulton, Weakley County, Kentucky;

an unknown daughter; and,

Bobbie Glen Whitt ("Bobbie Whitt") born on December 11, 1963, died the same year, and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee; and,

Laura Mae Witt ("Laura Witt") born on December 11, 1903, married Lottie A. Carr ("Lottie Carr") on July 6, 1919, died on May 18, 1984 at the age of 80 years, and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. Lottie Carr was born October 19, 1895, died on November 26, 1955 at the age of 60 years, and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weakley County, Tennessee. Lottie Carr and Laura Carr had one daughter named:

Lela Mae Carr ("Lela Carr"), born on August 20 1920, and married Joe W. McAlister ("Joseph W. McAlister"?, "Joe McAlister" & "Joseph McAlister") on September 7, 1946. Joe McAlister was born on April 9, 1924, was the son of Byron McAlister and Genevieve Bryn, and died on October 3, 1999 at the age of 75 years in South Fulton, Weakley County, Tennessee. Joe McAlister and Lela McAlister had 3 children:

Patti Jo McAlister ("Patti McAlister", "Patty McAlister" & "Pat McAlister") born on March 26, 1951, first married Gene Rogers, was divorced, later married Kirk Byrn, III who was born April 19, 1950, and they divorced. She continued to live in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky. Kirk Byrn and Patti Byrn had a son named:

Jesse Edward Cavender ("Jessie Cavender"?, “Jessee E. Cavender”, “J.E. Daisy Welch was born on August 6, 1879, was the daughter of James A. Welch ("James Welch") and Letetia J. Love ("Letetia Love" & "Letetice Love"?) of Springfield, Missouri, died on April 24, 1924 when she was 44 years of age, and is buried in Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky. Samuel Cavender and Daisy Cavender had 4 children:

James Welch Cavender ("James Cavender", “J.W. Cavender” & “James W. Cavender”) born on March 2, 1898 in Weakley County, Tennessee, married Dora Inez Hedge ("Dora Irene Hedge"? & "Dora Hedge") on November 14, 1920 and had no children, died September 6, 1981, and is buried in the Old Bethel Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky.
