About the author
Since 1984 I have been editing and revising academic papers written by nonnative researchers. I divide my time between England and Italy, where I also hold seminars on how to write and present research papers. I have written extensively on the English language not only for Springer, but also for Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, and the BBC.
