RE: Mini Partenariat to be held in Copenhagen on September 3rd-4th 2009

Hello,
The following themes have been identified as a programme project gaps:


  • Exchange of best practice and establishment of cooperation networks between R&D institutions and SMEs– for target groups:- National, regional and local authorities, Regional and local development agencies, chambers of commerce Universities, higher education institutions, Non-governmental organisations/public-like organisations, business organisations contributing to the development of the programme area. (For more information on this selected theme, please refer to the Operational Programme in Chapter 6 – Priority 1: Promoting innovation and competitiveness in remote and peripheral areas).




      • Urban-rural partnerships for new service solutions – for target groups:- National, regional and local authorities, Regional and local development agencies, chambers of commerce Universities, higher education institutions, Non-governmental organisations/public-like organisations, Voluntary sector and other relevant public-like organisations contributing to the development of the programme area. (For more information on this selected theme, please refer to the Operational Programme in Chapter 6 – Priority 2: Sustainable development of natural and community resources).

Regional Contact Points are asked to be responsible for inviting key actors (minimum one key actor from your region for each theme) to a partenariat to be held in Copenhagen on September 3rd-4th , 2009. The key actors should have relevant experience within the selected themes (listed above) and project development is considered useful. The key actors should represent organisations that potentially can participate in a main project as an implementing project partner and/or be able to identify organisations who can participate from their regions in a main project. Key actors should be identified, invited and confirmed before August 3rd, 2009.


Invited key actors are encouraged to submit to you any ideas on products and services that are relevant to the identified theme that has been selected to address. Their product and service proposals will then be assessed by the Programme Secretariat for use in the partenariat in Copenhagen. Please forward all project ideas to the Programme Secretariat by August 3rd, 2009. (Use template provided). Please note that the key actors do not have to present a project idea.
At the Copenhagen partenariat, the participants will develop preparatory projects that will be presented as main project applications to the PMC in the spring 2010. The primary focus in their preparatory project application will be the defining of potential products and services which can be implemented, in additional to standard required preparatory activities. Secondly, focussing on the partnership constellation so a triple helix context/partnership if applicable to ensured in a main project application. If appropriate, ensure that co-operation is on a transnational, national, regional and local level in order to inform policy development.
The following is a recap of tasks to be completed by Regional Contact Points and the Programme secretariat.



    • RCP to invite key actors to the partenariat to be held in Copenhagen on September 3rd-4th 2009 for preparatory project development of projects addressing Exchange of best practice and establishment of cooperation networks between R&D institutions and SMEs and Urban-rural partnerships for new service solutions


Key actors should be identified, invited and confirmed before August 3rd, 2009 to the Programme secretariat.


    • The key actors should have relevant experience within the selected themes and project development is considered useful. The RCPs are asked to invite key actors (minimum one key actor from your region).




    • Potential products and services to be submitted to the Programme Secretariat by August 3rd, 2009 for assessment for inclusion in thematic workshop. Once received the Programme Secretariat will circulate submitted products and services to all RCPs. (Please use template provided).




      • Workshop to be held on September3 rd 4th to create preparatory projects which clearly outlines potential products and services



      • Project ideas delevoped in Copenhagen partenariat will target the 5th call for project applications spring 2009.
