The Deanship supports, manages and encourages many research activities like internally and externally funded research projects via SABIC and other similar - Suspension of student from the University for one Academic Semester and denial of monthly grant or allowance. - Suspension of student from the University for More than One Academic Semester and assigning a failing grade of Fin the stipulated semesters- Denial of University Housing - Permanent dismissal of student from the University In addition to the Deanship of Admissions and the Deanship of Student Affairs which handle all aspects of admissions and University life respectively, University resources include the following Deanships and centers Stealing, • False impersonation and identity theft. All violations are serious offenses which need penalties assigned. The University has issued rules stipulating standards for ethical and academic conduct and prescribing suitable penalties depending on the seriousness of the offense and any particular circumstances involved. Penalties and disciplinary actions for offenses may include one or more of the following listed in the University Integrity Code- Denial of creditor grade in one course or more- Denial of grant or allowance fora month- Assigning student a failing grade of Fin one course or more. It also supports Junior Faculty Grants for fresh young stuff members, research groups, conference attendance, sabbatical live, visiting researches, grants and awards, workshops, and collaboration with international institutions worldwide. The Junior Faculty Research Grant is a onetime, month, limited budget (SR 50,000) research opportunity. It is mainly intended for fresh PhD’s and its purpose is to maintain the research momentum developed during their PhD work. Grants are also extended to the authoring, translation and editing of books, Arabic language studies as well as social studies for the benefit of the local community. Research projects are directed towards addressing vital issues facing the community such as Dengue fever, Bird flu, stock market effects on society, terrorism, domestic violence, the problems of people with special needs in Saudi Arabia, and medical malpractice.
