FALCON QUARTERBACK MICHAEL VICK FOUND GUILTY OF DOG FIGHTING AND ANIMAL ABUSE. GIVEN 2 YEAR SUSPENSION

{Atlanta, Georgia} – This morning, the Atlanta Falcons Football Club has decided that Michael Vick will serve a 2-year suspension from the team. In addition to these two years, Vick will be forced to serve 250 hours of community service in a dog shelter or veterinary office.

After the disturbing discovery of 60 dogs at Vick’s home just a couple miles outside of Atlanta, the Falcon’s Football Club come to a decision that Vick would not be welcome back to the Falcon’s until he gives back to the community and proves himself to his teammates, coaches, and fans. In addition to the suspension and community service, the Atlanta Falcons have fined Vick $175,000. The coaching staff is embarrassed that one of their players was doing such an action while representing the team.

In addition to the punishments given by the Atlanta Flacon’s, Vick also could face fines up to $350,000 and jail time.

“We are so disappointed with the entire situation, the entire coaching and office staff apologizes on behalf of Michael Vick,” Head Coach Mike Smith stated yesterday morning.
