NBAF is “Making Art Fashionable” at the

4th Annual Fine Art + Fashion

Where Beauty, Fashion & Arts Connect to Inspire

 

ATLANTA, January 19, 2010 – NBAF invites Atlanta to join us at the 4th Annual Fine Art + Fashion, A Benefit for the National Black Arts Festival (NBAF). This not-to-be missed event grants fashion and art enthusiasts access to view couture fashions from top designers from around the world while bringing together multi-generational, multi-cultural, lovers of art and fashion to a setting that showcases creativity, beauty, fashion and visual arts. Presented in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue, Fine Art + Fashion raises funding for NBAF’s Education and Public Programs including the popular Children’s Education Village, Youth Leadership Initiative, teacher training programs and humanities programs.


Fine Art + Fashion will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at AmericasMart, Building 2 West Wing, 235 Williams Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. The evening opens with a red carpet VIP Reception at 6:30 PM, followed by a fabulous Fashion Show at 8:00 PM that features the Model Citizen Honoree and the first NBAF Emerging Talent Award presentation. The evening culminates with a sensational after party for runway and fashionista ticket holders with radio & television personality Frank Ski and the sizzling Latin band Río Negro at 9:30 PM.
Victoria Rowell, a talented actress, successful author and spokesperson for the Casey Foundation, will serve as the celebrity host for the evening. 
The Fine Art + Fashion Committee is a “who’s who” in Atlanta’s social scene. Sandra Anderson Baccus will serve as this year’s Honorary Chairs along with chairs, Tamara Bowens Kimble and Holli Hines Easton. Co-chairs for this event include Mary Ann Rohrer, Stan Mukoro, JeNika Thomas, Earnest Ingram & Charlene Crusoe-Ingram. Fine Art + Fashion is especially delighted to have Tanya Rodriguez serve as Chair of the Patron Party.
