Ceramic Tiles
Tile City - Selections of Fort Constructions tiles are available for viewing at time of colour selections however, we recommend a visit to one of the Tile City showrooms where the full range of the Fort Constructions tile range and upgrades are on show. To ensure a consultant is available to assist you with your selection, APPOINTMENTS MUST BE MADE in advance with a Tile City Consultant. Be sure to obtain the name and code of your selected tiles.

Note: All tiles are straight laid with the exception of the shower floor that is laid on a 45 degree. Maximum tile size is 330mm x 330mm.

Electrical

Note: To conform with Building Codes Queensland Energy Efficiency Rating effective March 1, 2006 all dwellings must achieve energy efficient lighting to 40% of the total floor area. Energy efficient lighting includes fluorescent and compact fluorescent lights, it does not include incandescent or halogen lights. Where a part of the house is lit by more than one light source, and one or more of those sources is not deemed to be efficient lighting, then that part of the house is not considered to have efficient lighting and therefore does not qualify towards to 40% efficient lighting requirement. For example, if a kitchen has a fluorescent light as its central light source and halogen lights providing task lighting for a kitchen bench, then the floor area of the kitchen bench should be subtracted from the kitchen floor area when calculating floor area lit by efficient lighting.

To ensure we achieve the 40% efficient lighting the builder will supply and install 32w opal fluorescents to the floor plan as required and batten points to all remaining areas.

Display home items such as decorator tiles, wallpaper, textured paint finish, timber floor finishes, upgraded bricks, multi-external materials and non-standard paint colours are also not included.
