One of Randy’s mechanics, Jerry, knows old cars inside and out. He has done a lot of work on Don Hart’s 1983 Avanti and Ed Meyer’s 1964 Commander. Jerry was able to fix Ed’s carburetor on his Studebaker OHV six that two other garages couldn’t do.

owner Geary Portell has rebuilt several Studebaker and Avanti radiators, made a new

hand made TIG welded aluminum radiator for a 1946 Studebaker street rod and had a

buddy who drives an Avanti.

Owner Abraham Simpson and his crew did a wonderful job rebuild my 1964

Commander 6 automatic transmission, securing and recharging my air conditioner

Compressor and replacing worn chassis components. They also safety inspected

my car, had the front wheels aligned properly and replaced the brake light switch.

They are not good with fixing or diagnosing carburetor problems though. Prices

are very reasonable.
