Heart award

Chapters, Societies and the Student Alumni Association/Board are invited to nominate an individual for the Morris Fair Heart Award.


Purpose

The Morris Fair Heart Award was created by the Arkansas Alumni Association to honor a unique individual who exemplifies the volunteer spirit, enthusiasm and commitment that is the core of alumni group involvement. The spirit of the award is to honor those individuals that give their “heart” to an alumni group and often do not stand in the spotlight for their contributions.


Application Criteria

(The official online nomination form is www.arkansasalumni.org/heartaward.)

Period of evaluation: April 2015 through May 2016
Includes:


  • Must be a member of the Arkansas Alumni Association (alumni or friend)

  • Describe the qualities that make your nominee the “Heart” of your alumni group; and

  • Give examples of this nominee’s volunteerism that have made your alumni group a success.



Award/Recognition

The individual selected will:



  • Receive a commemorative Heart Award plaque; and

  • Be recognized in ARKANSAS magazine and on the Arkansas Alumni Association’s website.
