HENTHORN NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT FOR ATLANTIC COAST BANK
Kathryn Henthorn to lead the Atlantic Coast Bank Law Department
JACKSONVILLE, FL. (March 2, 2015) – Kathryn E. Henthorn was recently named Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Atlantic Coast Bank and Atlantic Coast Financial Corporation. Henthorn will be responsible for all corporate governance and compliance, contracts, vendor management, litigation and intellectual property.
Henthorn joined the bank in 2014 with more than 17 years of diversified legal experience. Management of the day-to-day administration of the Law Department is Henthorn’s primary role, but she also provides support and guidance to the Human Resources Department in regard to employee related concerns, policies and procedures, and development of training materials that reflect the Company’s commitment to providing a safe and non-discriminatory workplace. Henthorn will also be partnering with the Enterprise Risk Management team to identify, evaluate and prioritize risks, and assist in the development of policies and processes to effectively manage those risks. Henthorn was also recently appointed to the First Coast YMCA board of directors for the Brooks location.
