1946 Truett Cathy opens the "Dwarf Grill" in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville (later renamed The Dwarf House)
1964 Truett Cathy invents the Original Chicken Sandwich
1967 First Chick-fil-A® in-mall restaurant, featuring the signature Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich, opens in Atlanta's Greenbriar Mall
1973 Truett Cathy establishes the Team Member Scholarship program to encourage
Chick-fil-A restaurant employees to further their education
1982 Chick-fil-A introduces Chick-fil-A® Nuggets
Chick-fil-A Inc. moved into its corporate office headquarters, located at 5200 Buffington Road in southwest Atlanta
