Introduction
The aim of this report is 1) describe the accident during Exercise Mountain Trail.
Time and place
It was the survival exercise 2) was held for one day on 21st March in Shooku Mountains. Two teams 3) consist of five people each were 4) involving.
Background
It was the second morning of Exercise Mountain Trail. Cpl Evans complained that he 5) had been feeling ill; he had a bad stomach ache and had difficulty walking. Lt Philips agreed 6) to left him at the camp and continue with the exercise. I 7) were not worried because both teams should be back at the camp before last light at 1700.
Lt Philips 8) divides the men in two groups. As 9) planed, LCpl White and LCpl Murdoch went with Lt Philips and I took LCpl Parker and Cpl Smith. My group had three radios with a range of 2000 meters; Lt Philips gave one to Cpl Evans, kept one himself and 10) given the third radio to me.
