PART 2: THE FOLLOWING ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT USABILITY AND USER EXPERIENCE GOALS THAT CAN BE USED TO EVALUATE SAMSUNG SMART PHONE: USABILITY GOALS: Efficiency: Efficiency is one of the most important usability goals for evaluating Samsung phones because efficiency measures any performance that uses minimal inputs to get the maximum number of outputs. Put simply, a device is efficient if you get more by using less. Effectivenes:Effectiveness evaluations are used to determine the extent to which plan outcomes have been achieved and are primarily concerned with comparing actual outcomes with the desired outcomes or objectives which makes it an important factor in device in evaluation. Learnability: Learnability is important, because it is closely linked to usability. It is vital that users can pickup how to use an application quickly. USER EXPERIENCE GOALS: Desirable aspects. Enjoyable: We all want to be noticed, to get recognition, and smartphones can fulfill that need. When someone likes or makes a good comment on about your phone or photograph captured with the phone, your brain gets a little reward of dopamine. And that makes your brain happy. It also makes your brain want more of those little dopamine hits. Motivation: Smartphones motivates many individuals indifferent ways, including the ability to connect on social networks. For example, creating closed social network group where employees can connect and share company news, information about projects or discuss issues and ideas freely. And also getting more done through a mobile to-do list. Supporting: Besides making phone calls, nearly all smartphones today can natively provide directions through GPS, take pictures, play music and keep track of appointments and contacts. Through the installation of apps, the list of possible smartphone uses multiplies by tens of thousands and grows longer everyday. Undesirable aspects Laziness: Smartphones can make people lazy thinkers. This is because people tend to use as away to avoid thinking about things that are not vitally important.
SECTION E The goal of this section is to translate each of the sets of usability and user experience goals listed in section D into two or three specific questions. Then use them to assess how well smartphones fares. The section contains two parts. Part 1: Evaluation of smartphones based on usability goals. Part 2: Evaluation of smartphones based on user experience goals.
