  Received an honorable mention at VISA Lighting's design competition during February 2015. Designed and prototyped an original light fixture intended for use in hospital corridors.

  Third place at the Delta Faucet design competition during December 2015. Designed and prototyped a multi-functional hand-held shower.

  Worked as an interning assistant in the development and launch of "Sunzeez", a brand of lightweight sunglasses designed specifically for infants and toddlers. Product was designed for UV protection and with materials safe for teething mouths.

  Assisted the designer in making modifications to the product, taking into account feedback gathered from mothers who trialed the product.

  Researched on materials and manufacturers, comparing price quotes, and providing this data to the designer.

Balloon decor and entertainment for children's events in Chicago suburbs. This freelancing position keeps my creative side challenged as I meet clients with children, and create animal shaped-balloons on the spot. It adds ambiance to children's events and creates focal points.

  As a regular volunteer at the Dupage Children's Musuem, I gained insights into the functioning of an organization, development of children's programs, and organizing of fund-raising events.

  I was the official photographer of their 25th Anniversary celebrations held in June 2012. The pictures I took have been used in their promotional materials.
