Hyderabad FOOD WASTE: Half the garbage generated in the city every day is food wasted by hotels, restaurants, roadside eateries, hostels, homes, vegetable and fruit markets and even hospitals. In November we fed 4000 hungry people on the road. The food handed over to us depends on the daily business; some hotels give us food for 100 or 150 people. We also get calls from other hotels. We have sub chapters in Madhapur, Banjara Hills and Secunderabad.
