Deakin University

Scholarships ranging in value between $2,000 to $10,000 and upwards



Deakin is in the process of undertaking a comprehensive review of the Deakin Scholarship Program to ensure that it meets the current and future needs of its students. It is expected that the review will be completed by late August 2012 with the scholarships which are available for 2013 finalised at that time.

Dream Big Engineering Scholarship Program for Year 12 Girls

Brown Consulting is a services company which provides civil and structural engineering as well as town planning, surveying and environmental services. Brown Consulting has offices throughout Australia and in Singapore. Brown Consulting will financially contribute to the cost of university studies throughout the duration of the engineering degree and a graduation bonus paid. There will also be paid work experience offered during the university break and throughout the semester. Upon graduation, Brown Consulting will provide a full time position, paid at competitive market rates for two consecutive years. The scholarship is open to young women throughout Australia (only permanent residents or Australian citizens can apply). The successful applicant needs to be available to work in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Rockhampton, Sydney or the Sunshine Coast office. Open to female students applying for a degree in civil, structural or environmental engineering, town planning or surveying. Flinders University offers a wide range of scholarships to undergraduate students. Many of these scholarships require students to have completed a minimum of 36 units of study before they become eligible. Selection is generally on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated (financial) need.

Griffith University


A number of scholarships are available ranging in value exceeding $12,000

Academic merit scholarships on offer include:





  • Deans’ Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship

Valued at approximately $60 000 each scholarship, the Deans’ Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship covers up to five years of study or the minimum duration of the program, whichever is the lesser duration. CSP students with an ATAR of 99.00 are eligible to apply. To be considered for this Deans’ Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship applicants must have Griffith University listed as their 1st and 2nd QTAC/UAC preference. Successful recipients will automatically be given membership to the Griffith Honours College. Students must complete the online application form and are reminded that applications are open and close on 16 November 2012.


  • Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship

Valued at $24 000 each scholarship, the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship covers up to four years of study or the minimum duration of the program, whichever is the lesser duration. CSP applicants with an ATAR of 96.00 – 99.00 are eligible to apply; however, applicants expecting an ATAR of 90.00 – 94.00 with exceptional personal achievements are also encouraged to apply. Students must complete the online application form by 16 November 2012.


  • Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Business) Academic Excellence Scholarship

A number of scholarships are on offer to encourage high performing CSP students to study an undergraduate degree of their choice offered by Griffith Business School. These Scholarships apply to both single and double degrees on offer, and each scholarship is valued at $5000 per year (paid in two instalments) for a maximum of: 3 years for a single degree; or 4 years for a Griffith Business School double degree. Applications close 25 January 2013.


A number of scholarships are available to CSP candidates who have applied and are eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, or Bachelor of Commerce (Professional ) offered by Griffith Business School at the Logan Campus. Scholarships are valued at $10,000 for the Bachelor of Business, or the Bachelor of Commerce programs, paid in semester installments of $2,500 over two years of the program, and $5,000 for the Bachelor of Commerce (Professional) program, paid in semester installments of $2,500 over the first year of the program. Students should note that priority will be given to applicants who demonstrate personal or financial hardship. Applications close 11 January 2013.

International College of Hotel Management (ICHM)


Four national prestigious undergraduate scholarships, each valued at a total of $20,000

Open to students who are an Australian citizen, a New Zealand citizen, a holder of a Permanent Visa in Australia or is an International Student (who completed their last two years of high school in Australia). These scholarships are aimed at supporting, recognising and providing for outstanding students who aim to become professionals in the growing hospitality and tourism industry.
