BING CROSBY

This tremendously popular vocalists was an avowed jazz enthusiast and insisted his accompanists include the late Eddie Lang, g, right up to the day of Lang's death. Although Lang, the Dorsey Brothers, and other jazz stars of the early 1930s played on many of Bing's records of that time, few were featured extensively; but as might be expected, a fair number of sides recorded by the Old Groaner, as he was affectionately known, in his half-century as a recording artist, are of interest as jazz, and these are listed below.
