Lillie Goodson, the last executive secretary to the Judicial Council, has confirmed that the minutes from 1971 to 1979 are in the Florida State Archives [in the R.A. Gray Building]. Researchers should request Record Group 650, Series 1191, Box 1.
The staff of the Judicial Council was transferred to the Attorney General’s Office after Chief Justice England abolished the Council. Upon the retirement of Colonel Arthur D. Core (Ret.), last executive director of the Judicial Council, all materials were sent to the archives by the Attorney General’s Office.
